Maddie B.

Today, there was a woman on tv
who was acting & dressing trashy.
She was really embarrassing her kids.

Maddie had an astounded look on her face
and said, "THAT'S THE MOM?"

Then she got up and came over to give me a hug.
She whispered in my ear,
"Thank you for not being like that.
Thank you for teaching me what it means to be a lady."

I thought that was so sweet.
