Everything but the kitchen sink...no wait!
I've had a flood of responses to the craigslist ads I put on for my appliances (which makes me think I should've asked more for them). Today a couple of guys who I believe are into flipping houses came to look at my refrigerator. I told them they can't have it until next weekend and we negotiated for Thursday night, which means I'll be without a fridge for a few days. The guy that came with him took a liking to everything else in the kitchen and offered to buy the stove, dishwasher, remainder of the cabinets and...the kitchen sink! lol He's going to take them next Thursday when his friend comes for the fridge. He was trying his best to get something for nothing and bought a few little things while he was there, but was turned away from many others because he either wanted them thrown in for free or nearly free. I should've asked him if he was interested in some patio doors!
This whole situation is starting to crack me up though--who sells their front door and kitchen sink at their yard sale??? lol While I'm grateful for God providing (SO THANKFUL) and it's amusing, I underestimated what a pain in the butt it would be to live in the shell I plan to hand back to the mortgage company. We may end up getting a hotel room for a night or two if it gets too rough. Can't wait to see what happens next! :)
